NEW – Business Aviation Security – 8 hour “live” virtual training course
Presented by Dyami Security Intelligence and IS-BAO/IS-BAH, this new live, virtual, two-day course is designed to equip business aviation professionals with the essential tools to safeguard their operations.
Learn about aircraft and passenger security, threats from emerging conflict zones, climate activism, and information security. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of effective risk-management strategies, integrating security practices into their organizational framework, and mitigating these potential threats. The course will provide insight into conforming to IS-BAO/IS-BAH standards and its security chapters.
Dyami founder and CEO Eric Schouten is the course presenter. He brings his aviation intelligence and expertise in espionage, terrorist plots, and the MH17 disaster that inspired him to create Dyami, aiming to make security and intelligence services accessible and affordable.
IS-BAO Initial Training Course – 12 hours “live” virtual training
The initial course** is for operator representatives starting IS-BAO registration or seeking IS-BAO Auditor or PSA accreditation. It is recommended for new safety officers or those without prior IS-BAO experience.
The course covers the IBAC, ICAO, and IS-BAO relationship; requirements for SMS and IS-BAO standards and recommended practices. It also includes implementation and renewal registration considerations; auditing considerations; and IS-BAO audit report requirements.
**Includes one-year of access to the new online IS-BAO Protocol Standardization (IPS) course, a self-paced, learning tool for every IS-BAO protocol.
IS-BAO Recurrent Training Course – 6 hours “live” virtual training
The IS-BAO Recurrent training course helps operator representatives, safety managers, and auditors stay current on industry safety protocols and operational procedures. Required for renewing auditors' and PSA organizations.
The course covers updates on the IS-BAO, ICAO standards, the Audit Programme Manual (APM) and on current aviation safety issues. It also includes in-depth exercises and application of standards to assess an organization’s policies, processes, and procedures.
IS-BAH WORKSHOPS
IS-BAH Fundamentals – total 8 hours “live” virtual training
Assists with understanding and the implementation of the IS-BAH Standards and recommended practices; providing a practical approach to an effective Safety Management System based on ICAO Annex 19 as a core element of day-to-day operations.
Attendance at the Fundamentals workshop within 36 months of any audit is required for all locations seeking IS-BAH registration (per IS-BAH 2.7.1), all IS-BAH accredited auditors, and Programme Support Affiliates.
IS-BAH Auditing – total 8 hours “live” virtual training
Required for IS-BAH Auditor accreditation and Programme Support Affiliates under the Audit and Registration Support category: Trains Programme Support Affiliates (PSA) & Internal Auditors to conduct evaluations; includes essential training in SMS performance validation to the IS-BAH; and provides required training for auditor accreditation.
